The ASAT ACE-24 is a battery-powered rope ascender — a personal powered elevator that drives a worker up and down a fixed rope for fast, efficient access where climbing is hard or impossible. It is the highest-capacity model in the ACE range.
It runs on an Ø11 mm EN 1891 A semi-static rope with stepless speed control, carries a rated 180 kg (397 lb) — 260 kg working load limit — and ascends at up to 30 m/min and descends at up to 40 m/min, powered or manual. The swappable battery charges in under an hour and covers roughly 700 m of alternating up/down travel — or 300 m of continuous ascent — at 150 kg. Overheat protection, an IP56 rating, a −30 to +60 °C range and 0–150 m remote control round it out.
Certification: CE marked under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The ACE range is covered by EC type-examination certificate 3400220822, issued by Safenet Certification Services (Notified Body 2805).
Important: a powered ascender is a work/access device used on the working rope. It must always be used together with a separate backup fall-arrest device on an independent safety rope.

The ASAT ACE-24 power ascender is the one to specify when capacity and range decide the job. Where portability matters more, the ASAT ACE-22 power ascender is backpack-sized at 10.5 kg and the ASAT ACE-51 power ascender weighs 3.5 kg without its battery. All three ASAT power ascenders run on the same Ø11 mm EN 1891 A rope.

The ACE-24 is the largest ascender ASAT builds and the highest-capacity unit we stock. It carries a rated 180 kg with a 260 kg working load limit — enough for two people with kit, or an operator bringing a casualty down — and it does it on the same Ø11 mm rope as the rest of the range.
Range is what sets it apart. One swappable battery covers 300 m of continuous climbing at 150 kg, or around 700 m of alternating up-and-down travel. That is a full turbine tower without coming off the rope, and a recharge takes under an hour.
It is rated from −30 °C to +60 °C, the widest window in the range, with overheat protection built in and an IP56 sealed body. It ships in a wheeled metal transport case, because at 18 kg you roll it to the anchor rather than carry it.

Most powered ascenders are specified by how much they lift. The ACE-24 is specified by how far it goes with that load on: 300 m of uninterrupted climbing at 150 kg, or roughly 700 m of alternating travel, on a single swappable battery that recharges in under an hour. On a turbine, that is the difference between one ascent and three.
A 260 kg working load limit is not just a bigger number — it changes what the unit is for. Two technicians on one rope. An operator with a full tool bag and a replacement part. A rescue where the casualty comes down with the rescuer. The ACE-24 is the unit you specify when the load is not one person travelling light.
Rated from −30 °C to +60 °C with overheat protection and an IP56 sealed body, the ACE-24 is built for the sites where the weather does not cooperate and the shift does not get shorter. It travels in a wheeled metal case with the charger and the remote, so the whole system moves as one piece.
