The ASAT ACE-22 is a compact, backpack-portable powered rope ascender (about 10.5 kg / 23 lb) that can run vertically, horizontally and on inclines — the most portable model in the ACE range.
On an Ø11 mm EN 1891 A semi-static rope with stepless speed, it carries a rated 140 kg (309 lb) — 180 kg working load limit — and ascends at up to 30 m/min and descends at up to 40 m/min, powered or manual. The swappable battery charges in under an hour and covers about 400 m of alternating travel (160 m continuous ascent) at 120 kg, with 0–150 m remote control, an IP54 rating and a −20 to +60 °C range.
Certification: CE marked under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The ACE range is covered by EC type-examination certificate 3400220822, issued by Safenet Certification Services (Notified Body 2805).
Important: a powered ascender is a work/access device used on the working rope. It must always be used together with a separate backup fall-arrest device on an independent safety rope.

The ASAT ACE-22 power ascender is the one to carry when the machine has to travel sideways as well as up. For the lightest option, the ASAT ACE-51 power ascender weighs 3.5 kg without its battery; for the highest capacity, the ASAT ACE-24 power ascender is rated to 180 kg. All three ASAT power ascenders run on the same Ø11 mm EN 1891 A rope.

The ACE-22 is ASAT's Mini Power Ascender, and the name undersells it. It carries a 180 kg working load limit, climbs at up to 30 m/min and descends at up to 40 m/min on an 11 mm rope — and the whole thing, battery included, weighs 10.5 kg and packs into a backpack.
It also does something most powered ascenders cannot: it travels sideways. Vertical, horizontal traverse and inclined traverse, all from the same unit on the same rope. If your access problem is not a straight drop — a blade, a span, a slope, a shaft — this is the one that solves it.
A 150 m radio remote runs it from the ground, with a two-way intercom built in, so the operator and the ground team talk without a separate radio. The battery swaps out and recharges in under an hour, and the unit is rated IP54 from −20 °C to +60 °C.

ASAT cut the weight of its full-size ascender roughly in half and the volume by well over half, and kept the working load. The result is 10.5 kg with the battery in, in a case 27 cm across, that ships in ASAT's own dry backpack alongside the charger and the remote. One person carries the whole system to the anchor.
On one swappable battery at 120 kg, the ACE-22 covers around 400 m of alternating ascent and descent, or about 160 m of continuous climbing. Recharge is under an hour, and because the pack comes out, a second battery removes the ceiling altogether.
The ACE-22 runs on Ø11 mm semi-static rope to EN 1891 Type A. ASAT names the references it has tested — its own AR-TS03-11, EDELRID Prostatic Synctec and Static Low Stretch, Petzl AXIS, Sterling WorkPro — and we stock them. Tell us the working height and we will cut the length with the unit.

Rigged on a tensioned line, the unit travels sideways under its own power. Spans, blades, ceilings, conveyors.
Anything between the two: sloped anchors, angled spans, and approaches where a vertical drop will not reach the work.

No steps and no jolts, in either direction — the load never gets a shock it did not need.
