CAMP Goblin — versatile rope fall arrester

The Goblin is a multi-purpose fall arrester and rope-access device for work at height, designed for semi-static ropes from 10 to 11 mm. Its cam travels smoothly along the rope whether you are ascending or descending, and performance can be extended with the Rope Surfer accessory.

Features

• Smooth-moving cam for easy travel up or down the line; a button on the back of the device switches it into ascent mode.
• Locking mechanism designed to roughly halve the fall-arrest force transferred to the body compared with typical devices — it locks along a long axis instead of pinching the rope with an aggressive toothed cam.
• Hot-forged stainless-steel cam and locking components with a robust aluminum-alloy body for long service life.
• 2026 update: aluminum parts finished with matte hard anodizing for greater abrasion resistance.

• EN 12841 Type A/B — rope-access safety-line backup or working-line ascender, up to 120 kg; rope-access rescue up to 200 kg.
• EN 353-2 — guided fall arrester, up to 150 kg with certified ropes.
• PPE-R/11.075 — sharp-edge (over-an-edge) use with Iridium 10.5 mm (max 110 kg) or Iridium 11 mm (max 120 kg).
• ANSI Z359.1 — fall arrester up to 136 kg / 300 lb, certified with Lithium 11 mm rope with fixed end loops.
