The FAS-0120 is the long-range model in the sealed self-retracting lifeline (SRL) series, with a full 20 m (66 ft) working length for tall structures and deep access. It pays out and retracts Ø5 mm stainless-steel wire rope, staying under tension as the user moves and locking quickly to arrest a fall.
The fully sealed housing keeps out water, dust and grit, so the unit performs where standard galvanized SRLs corrode — offshore platforms, wind turbines and marine or coastal work. A built-in energy absorber limits the maximum arrest force to under 6 kN, and the lifeline ends in a 360° swivel snap hook with a load/fall indicator for quick post-fall inspection.
Certified to EN 360 and GB 24544. For OSHA-regulated work in the United States, confirm ANSI Z359.14 suitability for your application before use.
