The FAS-0106 is a sealed self-retracting lifeline (SRL) built for fall arrest in demanding, corrosive environments. It pays out and retracts 6 m (20 ft) of Ø5 mm stainless-steel wire rope, staying under tension as the user moves and locking within a short distance if a fall occurs.
The fully sealed housing keeps out water, dust and grit, so the device holds up where standard galvanized SRLs corrode — offshore platforms, wind turbines and marine or coastal work. A built-in energy absorber limits the maximum arrest force to under 6 kN, and the lifeline ends in a 360° swivel snap hook with a load/fall indicator for quick post-fall inspection.
Certified to EN 360 and GB 24544. For OSHA-regulated work in the United States, confirm ANSI Z359.14 suitability for your application before use.
