The Rescue Horizontal Module (KRHM), manufactured by KODUCT, lets a technician move horizontally along a suspended rope using an electric drill or a manual handle. A position-fixing pin allows work on sloped sections without unwanted movement, and the unit also works as a rope-winding device. Combined with a KMA power ascender, it supports horizontal and vertical rescue tasks.
Do not run the electric drill while the position-fixing pin is set to the stop or stored position, as this can damage the unit. The KRHM is an access and rescue accessory used with a KMA powered ascender, which is a work and access device rather than a fall-arrest device; always use an independent backup fall-arrest system on a separate safety rope with a suitable harness. Inspect all components before each use and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
